Wilma "Elaine" Kennan

“Dynamite comes in small packages” was Wilma Elaine Kennan’s motto. Born on August 22, 1952, to the late George Anthony, Sr. and Edith Bennett Kennan, Elaine spent most of her life in Waldo, FL and worked as a secretary for DCF for many years in Gainesville. Elaine would do anything for anyone. She enjoyed playing the piano at her church, Morgan Road. She loved her church family as much as her own. She also loved her dogs. On August 28th at North Florida Regional Medical Center, Elaine went home to be with her Lord and Savior. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Elaine leaves behind her brother, George (Elaine) Anthony Kennan, Jr. of Waldo; her sisters, Carolyn Phillips of Keystone, Paula (Bill) Horton of Waldo, and Stephanie (John) Sneed of Waldo and many nieces and nephews to cherish her memories.

A graveside service for Elaine will be held at 10:00am on Monday, September 6th at Crosby Lake Cemetery in Starke, FL. Pastors John DeHof and Aaron Morgan will officiate. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer-Milton Funeral Home, Lake Butler. 386-496-2008 www.archerfuneralhome.com
