William "Dean" Sawyer

William "Dean" Sawyer, age 76, passed peacefully on April 16, 2019.

Dean was born on April 26, 1942, in Ashe County, North Carolina to the late George and Myra Sawyer. He was the youngest of six children, all proceeding him in death. 

Dean is survived by his wife of 48 years Dorothy; two children, Keith and Deana; six stepchildren, Diane, Tommy, Lee, David, Michael and Jeff; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

A service to honor Dean will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the Archer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00am (1 hour prior to the service). His interment will be in Crosby Lake Cemetery, Starke, FL.
