William Ronald Bostick

Ron was born to William and Mary Love (Smith) Bostick on December 29, 1945, in Nashville, TN.  He was raised in Tennessee by his mother and step-father, James Miller Carney.  As an adult, he lived in Texas, Florida and Pennsylvania, later settling in Lake Butler, FL with his late wife, Sandra Schwind Bostick, to whom he was happily married for 22 years. Ron proudly served in the Army and was awarded the Meritorious Unit Citation in connection with his service in the Vietnam Campaign.  Upon his honorable discharge, he began a civilian life rich with diverse occupations and entrepreneurship.

In addition to his professional achievements, Ron was a cherished and dedicated family man and friend who brought joy to all. Survivors include daughter Nadia Renoll and her husband, Troy Renoll of Mechanicsburg, PA, step-daughter Stefanie Schwind of Lake Wales, FL, son Curtis Morey of TX and grandchildren Kai, Anthony, Jefferson and Jesse.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife Sandra, brother Robert Bostick and sister Jamielove Miller.

A private memorial service will be held on November 11, 2023.

Ron's influence continues to inspire us to approach life with determination, flexibility, and, most of all, a sense of humor.  He reminds us to enjoy life and take it a little less seriously.
