William Baker 77, of Lake Butler passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City. He was born in Hazard Kentucky on January 26, 1937 to the late Dewey Baker and Bertha Adams Baker. He was self employed as a cabinet builder since 1960. Mr. Baker was an avid fisherman. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Frances Miller Baker.
He is survived by his daughter: Ronda Thompson of High Springs; Brother: Robert Baker of Lake Butler and Jack Baker of Melbourne; Sisters: Faye Barnett of Danville, Kentucky and Edna Gay of Fort White; Grandchildren: Buddy (Alaina) and David Thompson, Veronica McGuiness (Sean) and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mr. Baker will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Archer Memorial Chapel with his close friends officiating. There will be a visitation an hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will take place at Fort Call Cemetery following funeral services.
