Wilfred Ellis

Wilfred Marion 76, of Glen St.Mary passed away peacefully with his family at this side, at Haven Hospice in Columbia County . Marion was the son of the Late Gene Ellis and Mattie Norman Ellis and Preceded in death by one Brother Grady Ellis. He retired from the Department of Corrections after 30 years. He was Superintendent at Union Correctional Institute at the time of his retirement. He was a Methodist. He enjoyed motorcycling, fishing, and traveling.

He is Survived by his Loving Wife of 55 Years: Loedith Griffis Ellis.
His 2 Sons: David A. Ellis (Pam) of Melton, Florida and Wilfred Dean Ellis (Missy Touchstone) of Alachua, Florida .
1 Sister: Ina Klise of Alachua.
4 Grand Children: Justin, Jason, Michael and Madison Ellis.
3 Great Grandchildren: Taylor, Mackenzie, and Asher.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 9, 2015 at 3:00pm at Archer Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Butler , with Visitation beginning at 2:00pm. Archer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 386-496-2008
