Walter "Jack" Eugene Vaughn 69, of Lake Butler passed away Monday, February 2, 2015 at his home. Mr. Jack was born on July 22, 1945 in High Springs, Florida to the late David and Lucille Bennett Vaughn. He was the Co-Founder of Springtown Automotive in Worthington Springs, Florida.

He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years Myrtle Renfroe Vaughn; Daughters: Tammy Seay of Lake Butler, Cheryl Vaughn of Lake City, and Karen Vaughn of Green Cove Springs; Sons: Shawn Vaughn of Lake City, Sam Vaughn of High Springs, and Mac Johns of Lake Butler Step Daughters: Marlene Nieland of High Springs, Wylene Aubet (Albert) of Alachua, Sylvia Rowel (Gary) of Gainesville, and Lorrine Wott (Jeff) of Lake Butler; Step Sons: Alvin Ponds of Starke, and Robert Ponds of Lake City; Brothers: Buddy and Larry Vaughn both of South Carolina; Sister: Joyce Hemphill of High Springs; 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mr. Vaughn will be held Friday, February 6, 2015 at the Grace Christian Fellowship at 11:00 AM with Terry Elixson officiating. Burial will take place following funeral services at St. Johns Methodist Church Cemetery. Family invites friends for a visitation Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at Mr. Vaughn's Residence, 8822 Southwest County Road 796A Lake Butler, Florida 32054. The arrangements are under the care of Archer Funeral Home, Lake Butler.
