Timothy Leon Elixson

Timothy Leon Elixson, 58, of Lake Butler, Florida passed away peacefully on October 27, 2020 at Shands UF in Gainesville, Florida.

Timmy was born at home on December 2, 1961, in Winter Haven, Florida, to the late Paul and Elizabeth Elixson. Timmy was a life long resident of Union County Florida. He was a mechanic by trade. He could fix anything. If he couldn't fix it then it couldn't be fixed. Timmy enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool, riding his Gator, spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed his grand-children, his nieces and nephews.

Timmy is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Elizabeth Elixson; his sister Paulette Harn; his brother John Paul Elixson, niece Jennifer Blackwelder; and son DJ Seay.

Timmy is survived by his sisters, Paula (Mike) Medders, and JoAnn (Tim) Stephens both from Worthington Springs, Florida; a daughter Roseanna (TJ) Bryant; two grandchildren, Landyn and Easton; numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends that loved him like family. Timmy will be missed dearly by so many people. He had a heart of gold. If you were lucky enough to have known him and belonged to his circle of friends, then you know just how wonderful, thoughtful and loving he was. We will always love you. Our hearts are breaking knowing that you are gone. We know that you are at peace now and you can finally rest. We have been truly blessed having you in our lives. Our lives will forever be changed. We will cherish our precious memories with you.

A funeral service to honor Timmy will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd at 11:00am at the Archer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Monday, November 2nd from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Archer Funeral Home. Interment will be at Elzey Chapel Cemetery, Lake Butler. In Lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to help with Timmy's funeral expenses. Donations can be given directly to Archer Funeral Home towards the bill.
