Stacy Alan Crawford

Mr. Stacy Alan Crawford lost his courageous battle with COVID-19 on September 7, 2021. Stacy was born in Macclenny, FL but grew up, graduated High School, and raised his family in Union County. Stacy dedicated 29 years to the Department of Corrections as a correctional officer. After retirement, he joined the Union County Sheriff's Office where he has served faithfully and diligently since 2016. Stacy was a die-hard Florida Gators football fan who loved being outdoors, especially riding his side-by-side. Stacy loved people, hanging out or just helping anyone in need. Stacy is preceded in death by his father, Amos Crawford; step-mother, Evelyn Alice Crawford; his nieces and nephew, Katherine Alice Miller, DeAiré Montez Miller, Alma Earle Miller, Eric Lewis Dalrymple, and Kristen Renee’ Holmes.

Stacy leaves behind his wife, Laura Crawford of Lake Butler; children, Kyle Wade (Meghan), Ashley, and Casey Crawford; his grandchildren, Madelyn Feltner, Kyleigh Groves, and Jase Feltner; his mother, Billie Griffis of Lawtey; siblings, Bryan Turner (Mary), Billy “Darrell” Crawford (Alice), Cynthia “Diane” Crawford (Alvin), Sharon Marrero (Robert), Denise McDonald (Mack), Kelly Holmes (Joe), Kevin Davis (Jeanie Troup), Mandy Davis, and Michelle Trollinger (James); and numerous nieces and nephews to cherish his memories.
A service to honor Stacy will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at the First Christian Church, Lake Butler. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 10:00am. Stacy will be laid to rest with full honors immediately following the service at Swift Creek Cemetery. Masks will be required at the services. My heart has been very heavy since getting the calls about you. You were loved by my family and me. Today is a somber day as many say their finally goodbye, but the memories and the impressions you had on many, will stay alive forever. My prayers are with your family for strength and guidance in the coming days, months and years.
