Sehvyathen "Sehvy" Alexander Heslar, born in Gainesville on August 29, 2024, was a radiant presence whose light shone brightly during his short time with us. He passed away on December 16, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and love that will forever be cherished by his family and friends.Sehvy was known for his infectious smile and the joy he brought into every room he entered. He was adored deeply by his siblings, who will fondly remember his playful spirit and kind heart. His personality was one that captivated those around him, making every moment spent with him a delightful experience.
Sehvy is survived by his devoted parents, Stephen and Gioia Heslar. He leaves behind his loving siblings: Stephen Louis Heslar II, Giasiah Edward Heslar, Lucian Manuel Heslar, Hyren Tarcisio Heslar, and Sahlyceia Lilaea. Sehvy was loved by his grandparents, Glenn Edward Heslar, Rosana Yma Linares, Jorge Linares, Sharon and Charles Caprilozzi, and Manuel and Abigail Fernandez.
In addition, he will be missed by his aunts and uncles, Sherrie & Matt Hoggatt, Faye & Christopher Sessions, Gerard Hendrieth, as well as Christopher Fernandez. The bond with his godparents, Angelica and Alcira Sigler, and his great aunt, Keryn Yma Bober, added to the rich tapestry of his life, all of whom hold dear memories of his laughter and joy.
The graveside service in honor of Sehvy will take place on December 23, 2024, at Elzey Chapel Cemetery in Lake Butler, Florida. The service will begin at 11:00 AM with Brother Richard from Union Baptist Church, officiating.
Sehvy's light may have dimmed too soon, but the love he shared with his family and friends will forever illuminate their hearts. He will be missed greatly, yet his spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
