Sarahbell Williams

Sarahbell Williams, 90, of Worthington Springs, FL passed away on April 29, 2017. Sarahbell was born on July 22, 1926 to the late Andrew Judson and Nellie McElroy in Levy County, FL. Mrs. Williams was a teacher in Union County for 20 years. In 1973, she was awarded Teacher of the Year. She also acted as interim principal during her tenure as a teacher. Sarahbell enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, singing, and playing the piano. She enjoyed to fish from the front of the boat. Mrs. Williams was a very active member of Sardis Baptist Church with several roles. She was the church's Song Director, VBS Director, and a Sunday School teacher for over 50 years. Sarahbell is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Williams. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Susan Idalee Clyatt.
Sarahbell's memory will be cherished by her adoring family. She is survived by her two children Sarah Ranae Smith (Rob) and Andrew Robert Williams (Betty Jo) both of Worthington Springs, Fl. She is also survived by five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to Sardis Baptist Building fund.
