Sandra Dewees

Sandra M. Dewees, age 67, passed away August 10, 2022, at Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee after an extended illness. Sandra was born in Hialeah, FL to the late George and Patricia Evans Morrison. In 1978, she moved to Lake Butler and has been a resident ever since. Sandra was a positive lady always seeing the best in everyone and everything. She loved being outdoors, whether it was tending to her plants and flowers, or enjoying her animals. Making jewelry and painting were hobbies that allowed her to use her creativity. She also enjoyed serving her family a delicious meal or homemade dessert. Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, George and Patricia Morrison, and her sister Jonee Morrison.

Sandra leaves behind her daughters, Kara (Curtis) Mesnard of Lake Butler and Cheryl Dewees (Hamp Tatum) of Tallahassee; granddaughters, Katy and Karleigh White; sisters, Paula Hines and Kathy (Bill) Odahl.

A graveside service to honor Sandra will be held on Sunday, August 28 at 2:00pm at Dekle Cemetery, Lake Butler, FL. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer-Milton Funeral Home, Lake Butler. 386-496-2008 www.archerfuneralhome.com
