Sandra Crews

Ms. Sandra Regar Crews, age 58, of Lake Butler, lost her courageous battle with the Covid-19 virus on August 7, 2021, at the Lake City Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born on March 17, 1963, to Charles Regar and Lucille Sheppard Regar. Sandra was a lifelong resident of Union County. She graduated from Union County High and worked for about 13 years with Ms. Barbara’s Flowers. She went on to start a career with the Department of Corrections but always had a passion for flowers. She worked with the Department of Corrections for 17 years. She loved to travel with her two lifelong friends, Dianne and Vanessa. They have been friends for over 40 years and are more like sisters. Ms. Crews had 3 children, Danielle, Daniel, and Dalton, but she was “mom” to many more. She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Crews; her parents; and her brothers, Wilbur and Ronald Regar.

Ms. Crews is survived by her children, Danielle Miller-Clarke of Lake Butler, Daniel Clarke of Lake Butler, and Dalton (Kayla) Clarke of Hawaii; grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Cobie) Mann, Tyler Holmes, JJ and Kelsie Michael, Brysen, Khloe, Jordan, Adriaonna, and Hunter Clarke; her great-grandchildren, Maxson and Maelyn Mann, Holdyn Dukes, and Emerson Holmes; her siblings, Mildred (Fred) Crews of Lake Butler and Charles “Eugene” Regar of Lake City; her two best friends, Dianne Gill of TN and Vanessa Kowach of PA; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

A funeral service to honor Sandra’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 11, at 1:00 pm at the Archer-Milton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Tuesday, August 10 from 6-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Her services will be officiated by Brother Paul O’Steen, Pastor of Sardis Baptist Church in Worthington Springs.
