Russell Edwin James Mayben

Baby Russell “Rusty” Edwin James Mayben, 2 months old, of Brooker, FL passed away on December 12, 2020 in Lake City, FL. Rusty was born on September 30, 2020 to Sadie Lucille Mayben. Rusty loved being outside with the sun shining on his face. He also loved playing with his sisters, snuggling with his mommy and grandparents, and watching Mickey Mouse. He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Richard and Mary Mayben and James Knight; his uncles, Richard and Russell Mayben.

Rusty is survived by his mother, Sadie Mayben of Brooker; his sisters, Rosie Hatfield and Hazel Turner both of Brooker; grandparents, Greg (PoPo) and Kimmy (GiGi) Mayben of Brooker; great-grandmother, Sharon Knight of Lake City; great-great grandmother, Barbara Keene of Keystone Heights; uncles, Harold Mayben, Ronald (Tabby) Trowbridge; aunt, Mattie May; numerous extended family also survive.

There will be a funeral for little Rusty on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Starke Ward at 1:30 pm. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Tuesday, December 29, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Archer Funeral Home in Lake Butler and again on Wednesday the 30th at 12:30 pm (hour before funeral) out on the grass at the church. Rusty will be laid to rest out at New River Church Cemetery.
