Mr. Russell Harris Kingsbury, age 68, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on October 8, 2022. Mr. Kingsbury was born and raised in Bradenton, FL to the late Russell and Patricia Hayes Kingsbury. Having his own shop in Bradenton, Mr. Kingsbury made his living doing upholstery work. In his spare time, he and his wife would coach softball and baseball. Mr. Kingsbury would cook for the Pop Warner teams and make his famous “Rusty Burger”. He also ministered to inmates through a prison ministry for several years. If he wasn’t helping others, Mr. Kingsbury loved being outdoors either hunting or fishing. He and his family move to Lake Butler in late 2021 and have enjoyed the small-town life. Mr. Kingsbury is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Joyce Carnahan.
Mr. Kingsbury is survived by his wife, Fawn Kingsbury; his children, Richard (Stacey), Leah, Tyler, Angel, and Robert; his grandchildren, Lindsay, Jessica, Corey, Alleah, Alphonso, and Darius; and a host of extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Kingsbury will be held Sunday, October 16th at his church, Fellowship Baptist Church, Raiford, FL, immediately following the morning service. There will also be a Celebration of Life held in Palmetto, FL, on Saturday, October 22nd at 1:00pm at Forward Church (formerly Impact Community Church).
