Rose Florence Ginda

Rose Florence Ginda, 100, born May 9th, 1921 in Haverstraw, New York passed away at home surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore of 63 years; her parents John and Nicoletta Marino; her siblings Tony, Caroline, Nancy, Lillian, Mary, Freddy, John and Lawrence. Also predeceased by her children John Ginda, RoseMarie (Steve) Furchak.

She is survived by her children: Alex (Geri), Sharon, Robert (Lynn), Eddie, Nancy (Marvin). 18 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

After retirement she and her husband moved to Florida to enjoy their golden years.
Rose was a loving mother to her children and their spouses and also found time to join the Haverstraw Ladies Auxiliary. She was always up to a good card game, dancing, bingo and loved her scratch offs. She spent her mornings at the Senior Center in Macclenny. Most of all she loved the Lord and was active in her church at Sanderson Christian Revival Center. Anyone who met her loved her.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 9 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Archer-Milton Funeral Home, Lake Butler. A celebration of her life will be held at Sanderson Christian Revival Center on Sunday, October 10th at 2:00 pm with Pastor Eddie Luke officiating. Her interment will be on October 11th at the Chapel Hills Cemetery at 9:00 am in Jacksonville, Florida, officiated by Dave Ragan.
