Robert Gary Parker

PARKER- Robert Gary Parker, 76, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023, after a sudden illness. Gary was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1946 and had lived there since. He served three years active duty in the USMC and was a Vietnam veteran. As a civilian, he worked as an electrician. He loved his family and spent a lot of his free time with friends at VFW Post 7909. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Maloy Parker and Mary Christina Parker. Survivors include his daughter Lisa Ianniello (Chris); his son Russell Parker (Tonya); one sister, Phyllis Robie; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service to honor Gary’s life will be held at Archer-Milton Funeral Home in Lake Butler, Florida at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 17, 2023. A visitation and gathering of friends and family will also be held at Archer-Milton Funeral Home preceding the funeral service from 12:00 to 1:00 pm.  Archer-Milton Funeral Home is located at 55 N Lake Ave., Lake Butler, Florida 32054. Interment will be held at Swift Creek Cemetery immediately following the service.  Services will be officiated by Pastor Michael Norman.
