Richard Alvin Westfall

Richard Alvin Westfall, age 72, of Lake Butler, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on March 17, 2023. Richard was born August 7, 1950, to the late Elliot Westfall and Louise Burdett. He worked for the Department of Corrections as a welding instructor until his retirement. Richard enjoyed fishing, landscaping, and watching professional as well as local racing. Most of all, his favorite pastime was spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Johnny Westfall; and sister, Linda Mosley.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Beverly Westfall of Lake Butler; his children, Tami (Jay) McClain of Crossville, TN, Debbie (Paul) Edwards of Keystone Heights, Tracie (Larry Joe) Douglass of Lake Butler, and McKenzie (Derrick) Leehe of Green Cove Springs; his 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy McFarlin of Melrose and Sheila Anderson of Starke; and a host of extended family.

A memorial service to honor Richard will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 25th at Watertown Congregational Methodist Church, Lake City. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer-Milton Funeral Home, Lake Butler. 386-496-2008 www.ArcherFuneralHome.com​
