Phillip "Flip" B. Goff, born on April 21, 1957, in NAS Jacksonville, passed away peacefully at his home in Middleburg on December 5, 2024. He dedicated 35 years to a career at the Gillman/West Fraser papermill, where his hard work and commitment were recognized, culminating in a well-deserved retirement.

Flip was known for his vibrant personality and enjoyed having a good time, which he shared with family and friends. His love for life was evident in his many interests; he found joy in fishing, cooking, and spending time on his boat, particularly on the Suwannee River.

Flip is survived by his beloved wife, Betsy Goff, and his two daughters, Selena Sykes (Kenny) of Salt Springs and Amanda Faulkner (Mark) of Jacksonville. His cherished grandson, Grayson Sykes, brought light and joy to his life. He is also survived by his brother, Gene Goff of Seattle, WA.

Flip will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends, whose lives he touched with his kindness, laughter, and spirit. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander Goff and Mary Ann Shephard, as well as his brother, Alex Goff. Flip’s legacy of love and joy will continue to resonate through all who knew him.

A celebration of Flip's life will be held at a later date. Archer-Milton Funeral Home of Lake Butler is honored to serve the family by honoring his wishes of cremation. 386-496-2008 www.archerfuneralhome.com
