Peregrine "Perry" Edward White

Peregrine "Perry" Edward White, 88, of Brooker, Florida peacefully passed away on July 26, 2018. Perry was born on April 9, 1930 in Waldo, Florida to the late Calvin White and Nora Brooker. At the age of 18, Perry joined the United States Army. He proudly served his Country for the next four years. Perry worked as a maintenance man for the VA hospital for 29 years. In his free time, Perry enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved his church family at Brooker Baptist Church. He loved picking and teasing folks. Perry loved spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ethel Jo. Two daughters; Candice Watkins and Sandra White.

Peregrine Edward White is survived by one son; Larry White (Lois) of Gilchrist County. Daughter; Jean Nessmith of Alachua. Three step-children; Dan Godwin (Linda) of Kentucky, Martha Chancey of Newberry, and Nancy Gunter (Lester).
Two brothers; Kenneth White (Evelyn) of Port Orange and Anthony White (Betty) of Fruitland Park. Three sisters; Helen Peoples of Alachua, Deanna Tetstone (Otis) of Brooker and Judy White of Titusville. Perry is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in his honor on Monday, July 30, 2018, 11:00 am, at Brooker Baptist Church. The family will receive friends an hour prior for visitation.
