Penny R. Shealy 72, of Lake Butler passed away peacefully at E.T. York Haven Hospice in Gainesville after an extended illness. She was born on April 12, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Janice Lerner Rogers. She was a sales agent for sears for several years. She enjoyed painting, arts and crafts, sewing, gardening, and fishing with her husband Carlton. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Lake Butler Ward. Mrs. Shealy is preceded in death by her daughter Laura Croft.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Carlton Shealy; Daughter: Lisa Shealy Bonardi (Thomas) of Enfield, New Hampshire; Sons: Carl Shealy (Karen) and Kevin Shealy (Robin) both of Lake Butler; Brother: Jason Richardson (Becky) of Tampa; Sister: Lorna Richards (Mark) of Tampa; Eight grandchildren: Courtney, Caitlin, Kyle, and Kaylee Shealy, Brooklyn Bonardi, Chaton, Datien, and Chase Croft.
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Shealy will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Lake Butler Ward with Bishop Paul Waters officiating.
