Pauline Griffis

Our loving mother, Pauline M. Griffis, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2022, at E.T. York Care Center of Haven Hospice in Gainesville, FL.

Pauline was born in Metter, Georgia on October 26, 1919, to Clemmie E. and Annie Lou Griffin Mosley and later moved to Starke, Florida in 1956.

She is preceded in death by her parents; 3 spouses; 2 sons; 3 grandsons; 2 sisters; and 1 daughter-in-law.

Pauline is survived by her 4 sons, John Sanford, Donny (Colleen) Evans, Danny (Christie) Griffis, and Robert (Katrina) Griffis; daughter-in-law, Darlene Evans; 17 grandchildren; and several great and great-great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at Sampson City Church of God on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 11:00am. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 10:00am. She will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Crosby Lake Cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Johnny Frampton.
