Patricia Ann Johns

Mrs. Patricia Ann Johns, age 86, of Lake Butler trusted Jesus as her Savior in the summer of 1944 and met Him face to face the morning of May 20, 2020.  Patricia was born in Lake Butler to the late Nelson and Ruby Handley Dekle. She was a 1952 graduate of Union County High School and long time member of Pine Level Baptist Church.  Patricia married the love of her life, M.L. Johns, and celebrated 50 years of marriage until his death in 2002. Patricia was a loving homemaker with a great sense of humor and a quick wit.  She was always fun to be around. Patricia enjoyed working in her yard and garden and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren as well as her church family. She was a special lady and will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, Billy, Robert and Richard Dekle, sisters, Betty Gainey and Frances Lewis.

Patricia is survived by her sons, Steve (Renee) Johns of Chatsworth, GA, Jim (Vonne) Johns and Paul (Zeny) Johns both of Lake Butler; grandchildren, Michael, Jonathan, Daniel, Tiffany, Sophia, Zoey, Tommy, Evelyn and Michelle; sister, Donna (Charlie) Coleman of Lake City, FL; and many great-grandchildren.

A service to honor Patricia will be held on Tuesday, May 26th at 11am at Pine Level Baptist Church. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Crosby Lake Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Pastor Mark Ogle of Pine Level Baptist Church.
