Pamela Buckhalter

Mrs. Pamela (Alford) Buckhalter, age 61, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 14, 2021. Pamela (Pam) was born on December 11, 1959, in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Carl Cecil and Sarah Elizabeth Alford. She was the youngest of two siblings. On September 27, 1982, she married Eugene Buckhalter of Green Cove Springs, Florida and they shared 39 years of marriage.

Pam is survived by her husband Eugene Buckhalter of Jacksonville, Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Regina and Moultrie Gillyard of Jacksonville, Florida; son, Gregory R. Downs, Jr. of Orange Park, Florida; stepdaughter, Selina Buckhalter of Monticello, Florida; grandchildren, Christian and Jadie Downs, Skylar Downs, Dalton Richardson, Dennis Richardson, Carson Preston; great-grandson, Hunter Downs; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Johnny Brant of Jacksonville, Florida.

A service to honor Mrs. Buckhalter will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Archer-Milton Funeral Home, 55 N. Lake Ave., Lake Butler, Florida 32054. A visitation will begin at 1:30pm. Mrs. Buckhalter will be laid to rest at Swift Creek Cemetery in Lake Butler. Pastor George Torres will officiate the services.
