Ola Faye Parrish 86, of Orange Park passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at her residence with family by her side. She was born on January 9, 1929 in High Springs to the late Andrew Judson (Jud) Witt and Lula May Clark Witt. She was a 25 year employee of F. W. Woolworth Company, progressing from sales clerk to many years as an assistant manager. She was also a Sunday school teacher at Biltmore Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. She is preceded in death by sisters: Vera Kyle, Eva Cornell, Leona Hendrix, and Evelyn Tyson; Brothers: A.J. (Junior) Witt and E. Lamar Witt.
She is survived by her loving husband of almost 69 years Ernest Parrish, one Sister, Vannah Bryant and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Parrish will be held Friday, March 27, 2015 at 11:00am at Hague Methodist Church 12421 NW CR 237 Hague, Florida 32615 with Rev. Paul O'steen officiating. Burial will take place following funeral services at Hague Community Cemetery. Family invites friends for a visitation an hour prior to funeral services.
