Nina Havannah (Vannah) Bryant, 78, of Lake Butler passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Haven Hospice, E. T. York Care Center with family by her side. She was born on January 4, 1938 in High Springs to the late Andrew Judson (Jud) Witt and Lula May Clark Witt. She was a homemaker in later years, worked at Copeland Sausage Company and Lake Butler sewing factory for many years, and was a stonemason with her husband Charles and following his death, creating many stone fireplace and other stoneworks in the local area. She was a Sunday school teacher at Providence Village Baptist Church and served many roles in the churches she was a member.
She is preceded in death by husband Charles Waters; sisters: Vera Kyle, Eva Cornell, Leona Hendrix, Ola Faye Parrish, Evelyn Tyson; brothers: Robert Wesley Witt, A.J. (Junior) Witt and E. Lamar Witt.
She is survived by husband A. Frank Bryant; daughters: Sharon (Jon) Kraus, Gayle (Steve) Duff; sons: Colin (Linda) Gay, Lamar (Erin) Waters; and numerous grand and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Bryant will be Sunday, December 4, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Sardis Baptist Church 3915 Main Street, Worthington Springs, Florida 32697 with Rev. Paul O'Steen officiating. Burial will take place following funeral services at Oak Grove Cemetery. Family invites friends for a visitation an hour prior to funeral services.
