Nadine (Nettles) Smith

Nadine (Nettles) Smith, 86, of Jacksonville passed away August 26, 2021. She was born in Gainesville living most of her life in Jacksonville. She was a registered Nurse and retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield after 20 years. Her hobby was acrylic painting. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles of 35 years, and a son Thomas E. Deese. She is survived by a son Stephen Deese of Jacksonville and a daughter Linda Foard and a step-daughter Sandy Trupiano (Thomas) of Brandon Florida. A sister Mildred Vann Arpen (Earl). Three brothers William T Nettles III, Thomas Nettles and Captain Carl James. Nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. There will be Graveside Service at New Hope Cemetery, 24315 County Road 1493, Alachua, FL 32615, on Tuesday, August 31st at 10 am. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer-Milton Funeral Home
