Murry DeWayne Walker

Mr. Murry DeWayne “Wayne” Walker, age 54, passed away on July 20, 2022. He was born on June 15, 1968, to Monroe Walker, Sr and Becky Lee (Watkins) Walker. He moved to the Union County area 31 years ago. He worked as a butcher for Crawfords Meat Room and for S&S Tree Service in Brooker. Wayne was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Fawn Walker; his parents; brother, Michael Elliot Walker; and granddaughter, Alexis Walker. 

Wayne is survived by his children, Joseph Dewayne (Katlyn) Walker and Cheyenne Walker all of Worthington Springs; grandchildren, Matthew Dewayne Elliott and Jayden Paul Walker both of Worthington Springs; brother, Monroe Walker, Jr.; sister, Josephine Dolly; numerous extended family also survive. 

A funeral to honor Wayne’s life will be held Saturday, July 23, at 4:00 pm at Archer-Milton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for a viewing beginning at 3:00 pm.
