Mrs. Marie Stripling

Mrs. Marie Green Stripling 84, of Lake Butler passed away peacefully at The Health Center of Lake City November 2, 2013. She was born and raised in Winter Haven, Fl, and moved to Lake Butler in 1994. Mrs. Marie worked with G.C Murphy as a bookkeeper for many years. She loved her arts and crafts and most of all her grandchildren. Mrs. Marie was preceded in death by her husband James w. Stripling, mother and father; Lawrence Green and Patty Toole, son; twin Dwight William Stripling, and her brother, Vernon Green.

She is survived by her sons, James Michael Stripling (Sandra), Dwayne Robert Stripling, brother; Lawrence Green, sister; Imogene Albertson, grandchildren; Jennifer Stripling, Amanda Howard, Zachary Stripling, Tyler Stripling and Aaron Stripling, and 6 great grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Marie will be held in the chapel of Archer Funeral Home in Lake Butler on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 1:00pm. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 5 from 6:00-8:00pm. Archer Funeral Home of Lake Butler is in charge of arrangements, 386-496-2008.
