MR RICKY JENKINS

Walter "Ricky" Wayne Jenkins, 71, of Lake Butler , passed away Sunday, November 2, 2015, at Shands U of F Medical Center in Gainesville , Florida , with his family at his side. Ricky was born in Miami , Florida . He lived most of his life in Lake Butler . He was the son of the late Thomas B. Jenkins and Crystal Rose Ellis Jenkins. Ricky was preceded in death by his son Little Ricky Jenkins, his sister Sally Rollins, and two grandchildren Callie Rose Stratton, and Edward Wayne Stratton. Ricky was a City of Lake Butler employee for 30 years and was a Union County Commissioner for 20 years. He was also a mechanic in his earlier years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lake Butler .

He survived by his loving wife Mary Alice Bradley Jenkins.
One daughter: Janet Diane Stratton (Micheal) of Orange Park , Florida .
Two sons: Scott Jenkins of Lake Butler and Daniel Jenkins ( Lydia ) of Lake Butler .
Four brothers: Mike Jenkins of Lake Butler , Sam Jenkins (Linda) of Lake Butler , Randy Jenkins (Robin) of Lake Butler , and Tom Jenkins (Karen) of Lake Butler .
Two sisters: Ruby Williams (Danny) and Meally Jenkins both of Lake City .
Seven and one half Grandchildren and Two Great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 6, 2015, at 11:00am in the Archer Memorial Chapel with Bro. Art Peterson conducting the services. The visitation will be Thursday, November 5, 2015, from 6-8pm at the Funeral Home. The burial will be at Mt. Zion . Arrangements are under the care of Archer Funeral Home. 386-496-2008
