Mr. David "Packey" Griffis

David (Packey) Griffis, 54 of Raiford passed away November 9, 2013 at the Suwannee Haven Hospice in Lake City of a extended illness. He was born in Raiford and lived his entire life there. Mr. Griffis worked at the Industrial Complex of Raiford for many years. He was preceded in death by his father Calvin Griffis, Jr. and Brother Mark C. Griffis. Mr. Griffis was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Chruch of Raiford.
Mr. Griffis is survived by his loving mother Mearlean Thornton Griffis of Raiford, Sons David M. Davis of MacClenny and Tommy Woods of Lake Butler, 5 grandchildren and One brother Glenn Griffis and wife Annette of Raiford.
Graveside Funeral will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Pine Grove Cemetery at Raiford with Rev. Herald Hudson and Rev. Randall Griffis officiating.
