Michael Elton Gordon

Mr. Michael Elton Gordon of Raiford, FL passed away peacefully on April 14, 2021 at Winsor Manor Nursing Home in Starke, FL. Michael was born October 23, 1945 to Oliver “OB” and Elsie Stokes Gordon. He has been a resident of Raiford for his entire life, graduating Union County High School in 1964. In his younger years, he loved to fish with his roadies. He absolutely loved living in Raiford and all his friends. He loved to laugh and always had a smile on his face. Michael was a dedicated employee of Pritchett Trucking for 26 years. He was huge Gator fan and a member of the First Baptist Church of Raiford. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Michael is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Hal, Norris and Marcus; and sisters, Barbara and Lorita.

Michael is survived by his brothers, Wallace Gordon of Pennsylvania and Gene Gordon (Shary) of Lake Butler; his sister, Joan Graham (Philip) of Raiford and many nieces, nephews and extended family also survive.

A Celebration of Life for Michael will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, May 1st at The First Baptist Church of Raiford. Brother Tommy Smith and Bro. Fariel Kennington will officiate.
