Mary Evelyn Paulk

Mary Evelyn Hendricks Paulk, 93, of Italy Texas, formerly of Lake Butler passed away peacefully June 23, 2014. She was born in Lake Butler where she graduated from Union County High school. She lived in Jacksonville and Whitehouse returning to Lake Butler in 1997. She was daughter of the late Butler and Ollie Langford Hendricks. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Edison Paulk, her son Gary Edison Paulk, and daughter Mary Iris Paulk. She was also preceded by brothers; John, Harold, and James Hendricks. She was a devout Christian who loved gardening, cooking and quiet acts if kindness. She was fun loving, and humorous, to know her was to love her.

She is survived by her daughter Susan Thomas Fuller (Byron Lee): Grandchildren; Jeremiah (Kara) Thomas, Nicole (David) Ramon, Jessica and Keely Thomas: Great Grandchildren; Sadie and Zoe Thomas, Mattie and Mason Ramon, Coty Billy and Kyla Ward. Also survived by sister; Marie Brooks of Jacksonville: Brothers; Drew, David, Brian, and Herman of Lake Butler, Joe of Springhill Fl, Vernon of Gainesville, and Donald of Tennessee.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday June 28, 2014 at Elzey Chapel Cemetery at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be held at 2:00 pm at Archer Funeral Home in Lake Butler. The processional will form at 2:40pm for the graveside service at the cemetery with Mark Redd officiating. Archer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 386-496-2008.
