Lonnie Jackson Combs

Lonnie Jackson Combs, 67 of Lake City passed away peacefully Monday, February 17, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family. Mr. Combs was born March 6, 1946 in Lake City to the late Russell Jackson Combs and Ella Corine Raulerson Combs. He worked for the Fruit Grower Express for 40 years. He was a member of the TCU local 6553 and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife Lanita Todd Combs of Lake City; Daughters: Ronda Hartley (Mark) of Glen St Mary; Kristen Michelle Douglass (Ben) Norfolk, Va.; Sons: Gregory Combs (Julie) Glen St Mary, Tony Rizer (Dawn) Lake Butler, Robert Barker Jr. (Robin) Denver,Colo; Nine Grandchildren and One great granddaughter; Brothers: Louis Combs (Mary) of Taylor, Wendell Ray Combs (Janice) of Taylor, Donald Neal Combs (Kay) of Macclenny; Sister: Lvyonne Baxter of Starke

Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 21, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Archer Funeral Home, with Rev. Ralph Durham officiating. Burial will follow at Elzey Chapel Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home for visitation, Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm. Archer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. 386-496-2008
