Lois Elizabeth Thomas

Lois Elizabeth Smith Thomas entered into heaven on May 3, 2022, at the age of ninety-five. She was born at home on August 20, 1926, in Johnstown, Florida in Union County.

She graduated from Union County High School and soon thereafter married her husband, Charles J. Thomas. They were married more than sixty years at his death.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was so proud of her large family and loved and prayed for each and everyone of them regularly. Her special needs daughter, Beth Ann was the light of her life.

She is pre-deceased by her husband Reverend Charles J. Thomas, her parents Bill and Emma Smith, her sister Agnes Woods (husband Eddie), brother Kenneth Smith, and grandson Daniel Collins.

She is survived by her children: Beverly Collins (Dan), Stephen Thomas (Kim), Marilyn Ingalls (John), Joy Schreck (David), and Beth Ann Thomas.

Fourteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

Also survived by her brother Rev. Ralph Smith (Daisy), several sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Mrs. Thomas will be held at Ben Sapp Cemetery on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 3:30 p.m. The family will recieve friends for a visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Archer-Milton Funeral Home.
