Mr. Lester Franklin Perryman, age 86, of Lake Butler, Florida, passed away at his home on December 2, 2018. Mr. Perryman was born in Bell, FL on March 24, 1932 to the late O.T. and Lettie Brown Perryman. He left school and enlisted in the United States Navy where he served for several years. After returning from the Navy, Lester took a job at Georgia Pacific and then worked for Bell South/ AT&T until his retirement. He lived in the Lake Butler area all his life and loved farming. He also loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed going to his coffee club at the S & S. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Lake Butler. Lester was preceded in death by his wife, Loureda Hilton Perryman; both parents, O.T. and Lettie Perryman; great granddaughter, Raygn Thomas; and by two brothers.
Mr. Lester was survived by his wife of 31 years, Delores "Dot" Hill Perryman of Lake Butler, FL; children, Dennie Perryman of Keystone, FL, Rick (Kim) Perryman of Lake Butler, FL, Robin (Kenneth) Clyatt of Lake Butler, FL, Steven Hill of Lake Butler, FL, and Jeanne (Mike) Nelson of Tampa, FL; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; one brother; and three sisters also survive.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, December 5, at 11:00 am at Archer Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 10:00 (one hour before service). Interment will follow at Elzey Chapel Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Reverend Terry Elixson.
