Laura Mae Williams

Laura Mae Williams was born September 5, 1931 in Alachua, FL to the late Rev. Jesse James and Cora Bradley. She left this earth on May 31, 2020.

Laura is preceded in death by: Her husband Fred Williams and daughter Lauretta Maria Williams Wright, two sisters Thelma Langston and Nancy Long, one brother Albert Stroder.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: Three sons, Willie James Williams (Angela) of Bartow, FL, Ralph Williams of Lake Butler, FL, and Fredrick Williams (Bonisa) of Lake Butler, FL. Three daughters, Geraldine Robinson of Lakeland, FL, Patricia Williams of Lake Butler, FL and Sandra Perry (Michael) of Lake Butler, FL; and one God Daughter, Geraldine Perry White of Lake Butler, FL. 24 grandchildren; 21 great-grands; 1 Aunt, Carrie Jones of Alachua, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A graveside service to honor Laura will be held on Saturday, June 6th at 11am at Damascus Cemetery in Alachua, FL. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday, June 5th from 6pm - 8pm at Archer Funeral Home. The service will be officiated by Pastor Tim Mulberry of Full Gospel of Jesus Christ Church.
