Katherine Manning Carlton

Katherine Manning Carlton, 64, of High Springs, FL passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family after an extended illness. Katherine was born November 2, 1957, to the late James Manning and Deanna White Tetstone. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Synquest. Katherine enjoyed taking trips to the mountains or just going for long drives with her husband. She also enjoyed reading a good book, doing crossword puzzles and attending craft shows. The highlight of Katherine’s life was her family, especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, James Manning, Sr. and her brother, James Manning, Jr.

Katherine is survived by her husband, Pat Carlton; daughter, Angie (Klint) Morris; mother, Deanna Tetstone; stepfather, Otis Tetstone; grandchildren, Landin, Kolby, Kacelyn, and Kayda; brothers, Harold (Lisa) Manning, Bradley Manning, and Brandon (Vennie) Manning; her sister, Linda (Mike) Smith; her niece, Kristin Griffis; and nephews, Chad, Jared, and Tyler Ellis.

A service to honor Katherine’s life will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Archer-Milton Funeral Home, Lake Butler, FL. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 10:00am. Katherine will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Dedan Cemetery in Brooker, FL.
