Judy Marie Wheeler
On December 28, 2022, Judy Marie Wheeler was reunited with her family and friends who have gone on before her. No doubt there was quite a stir in heaven.
Judy was born January 10, 1941 to Charley Cleopas Wheeler and Lillian Oneita Whitten Wheeler in Wells County, Indiana. She was the youngest of seven children. The Wheeler Family moved to High Springs, Florida in the 1940s.
Judy was a graduate of Gainesville High School (GHS) and in her early years was a student of dance. She once filled in as the dance entertainment on a cruise ship when the booked talent was sick. Judy never met a stranger and was was a die-hard Gator fan that shared her love for the Orange and Blue with her family.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, siblings and in-laws: half-brother James “Jim” Harley Wheeler, brothers Charley Lee “Jack” Wheeler, Thomas “Tom” Dowe Wheeler, Darrell Edwin “Ed” Wheeler (Georgia Rose), William “Bill” Earl Wheeler; sisters Dorothy Lou “Dot” O’Brien (Kenneth), and Carroll Alys Emerson (Gerald).
She is survived by her sister in-law Shirley Wheeler, several nieces and nephews and long-time friend Eleanor Parker May.
