Joseph Holmes

Joseph "J.W." Holmes Jr. (87) of Lake Butler, Florida passed away on January 25, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on September 9, 1927 in Defuniak Springs to Joseph Holmes Sr. and Morine Browning. He was in the air force for two years. He was a member of VFW.

He is survived by five children. One son, Tommy Holmes of Lake Butler, four daughters, Patsy Fortner (Thomas) of Lake Butler, preceeded in death by Joanne Hundley (Conrad) of Lake Butler, Barbara Waddell (Cliff) of Lake Butler, and Brenda Croft (Billy) of Lake Butler. He is survived by fourteen Grandchildren and thirty-two Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Archer Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Archer Funeral Home (386-496-2008)
