Johnnie Mae Weeks

Ms. Johnnie Mae Bradley Weeks, age 74, of Lake Butler went home to be with the Lord on December 31, 2020. Ms. Johnnie Mae was born in Live Oak, FL to the late Willie and Rena Bell Bradley. She worked as a battery manufacturer for GE until her retirement. In her spare time, Ms. Johnnie Mae enjoyed fishing, shopping, playing BINGO with her friends and scratching off lottery tickets. She was a fun person who loved having a good time and cracking jokes. She will be deeply missed by her family. Ms. Johnnie Mae is preceded in death by her parents and son, Dewayne Weeks.

Ms. Johnnie Mae is survived by her daughter, Lisa White of Lake Butler; her grandchildren, Lakeisha Weeks, Laresa and Jasmine White; her great-grandchildren, Kashiya White, De’Ahja Williams and Alaiya Dunlap; her siblings, Lucy Mae Alexander of Lake Butler, Johnny Lee Howard (deceased), Curlie Stewart Harris of Houston, TX, Willie Mae Odom of Lake Butler, Walter Bradley (deceased), Betty King Simmons of Lake Butler, Claudia Perry (deceased), Sonny Lee King of Lake Butler, Johnny Lee King of Lake Butler, Tyone King of Lake Butler, and Eugene King of Gainesville; her step-children, Dennis Weeks of Chicago, IL, Gladys Weeks of Gainesville and Patrick Weeks (Katrina) of Gainesville; her Goddaughter, Thelma Jenkins of Lake Butler; Godsons, Allen Jones and Joseph Jenkins; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service to honor Ms. Johnnie Mae will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 1:00pm at Fort Call Cemetery in Worthington Springs. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 12:00pm at the cemetery.
