John Louis Green

Mr. John L. Green, age 66, of Raiford, FL, passed away on November 26, 2019. He was born in Union County on August 25, 1953 to the late Louis Herbert and Violet Rose Betterman Greene. He worked in the construction and farming industry his whole life. John loved to fish, hunt, and be in the woods with his friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Rose Blossom Greene; grandparents, Truby and Blossom Green; sisters, Addie Marie Crews and Linda Kay Stanford.

John is survived by his son, Johnny Greene (Ann Martin); daughter, Loriann Green; grandchildren, Victoria Marshel Greene, Leann Nicole Greene, Adam Jenus Green, Catherine Rachel Powers, and Alyssa Katherine Gaylord; great grandchildren, Miracle Abrielle Marie Littles and Nariah Memory Gaylord; brother, Gordon White; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

A funeral service to honor Mr. Green’s life will be held on Saturday, December 7, at 3:00 pm, at the Archer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. His interment will follow at Sapp Cemetery in Raiford.
