Jeremy James McRannolds

Jeremy James McRannolds, age 45, of Lake Butler, FL, passed away on January 28, 2022, after he lost his fight with Covid-19. Jeremy was born on August 4, 1976, in Traverse City, MI, to Geraldine (Laub) and James McRannolds. After graduating high school, Jeremy moved down to Florida to be with family. He began working with the Department of Corrections before moving into the auto industry where he specialized in sales. For the past 9 years, he worked for the Morgan Group/Roundtree Moore Family. Jeremy was very active. He enjoyed the outdoors, loved going to the gym, collecting knives and the Detroit Lions football. He also loved to sit down with a good book, especially Louis L’Amour. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his sister, Rachel McRannolds Weisenborn and his maternal grandparents, Gerald and Barbara Laub.

Jeremey is survived by his wife of 22 years, Melody McRannolds of Lake Butler; his children, Jacob, Aidan, and Peyton McRannolds all of Lake Butler, and a niece who was more like a daughter, Tiphanie Durham; parents, Jim(Donna) McRannolds of Fernandina Beach, Geraldine (Bill) Gardner of Ft. Pierce, and stepdad, Mark A. (Beth) Hendrickson of Portage, MI; siblings, Lindsey McRannolds and Carrie (Joey) Knowles both of Fernandina Beach, Billy (Shanda) McRannolds of Puyallup, WA, Hannah (Johnny) Oliver of Fernandina Beach, and Mark W. Hendrickson of Ft. Pierce; brother-in-law, Harry Wiesenborn; and his parent-in-laws, Rev. Ralph and Linda Durham; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family also survive.
