Janet Varnes

Janet Louise Tomlinson Varnes 59, of Lake Butler passed away peacefully at Shands at Lake Shore in Lake City after a brief illness. She was born on February 27, 1956 in Lake City to the late Charles Tomlinson and Stella Mae Brown Tomlinson. She is a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Starke. Ms. Tomlinson graduated from Union County High School. She is preceded in death by her sister Geraldine Todd.
She is survived by her daughters: Amanda Pellechio (Brent) of Providence and Alicia Hoffman (Justin) of Lake Butler; Sons: Daniel and Darrell Varnes both of Midland, Michigan; Brother: Charles (Teresa) Tomlinson of Lake Butler; Sisters: Joann (James) Trowell of Lake Butler, Darlene (Steve) Johnson of Georgia, Linda (Carl) Olin of Raiford; Ten grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Ms. Varnes (Tomlinson) will be held Friday, June 5, 2015 at 11:00am at Johnstown Baptist Church in Raiford with Bro. Roger Warton officiating. Burial will take place following funeral services at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Family invites friends for a visitation Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 6 to 8pm at Archer Funeral Home.
