James Allen "Jimmy" Mobley

Mr. James Allen "Jimmy" Mobley, age 55, of Starke, passed away peacefully at the Shands at University of Florida Hospital in Jacksonville after an extended illness. Mr. Mobley was born on January 12, 1958, in Cathridge, Texas to the late T.L. and Sarah Futrelle Mobley. Mr. Mobley owned his own logging business for many years until ill health forced him to retire. Mr. Mobley was preceded in death by his brothers: Tommy and Richard Mobley. Mr. Mobley is survived by his daughters: Christina Simmons of Callahan and Jamie Mobley of Gainesville; two grandchildren: Christian and Carson Simmons; sisters: Kay Humphrey and Patti Wesson of Green Cove Springs; caregivers: Tim and Dianne Hannon. Five nephews, one niece and three great-nieces also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Mobley will be conducted on Thursday August 15, 2013, at 11 AM in the Chapel of Archer Funeral Home. Internment will follow in Dekle Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11AM. (one hour prior to the services) at the funeral home.
