J.W. Bielling of Lake Butler, Florida passed away March 28, 2015 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, Florida. He is preceded in death by his parents Otis and Carrie Bielling of Providence, three brothers, Earl, Ellis, and J.D. Bielling; one sister, Evelyn Chance; and the mother of his children, Joannah Andrews Bielling. He is survived by two sons, Jake (Jeanette) Bielling and Joel Bielling of Lake Butler; two daughters, Chiquita Bielling and Karen (Terry) Elixson of Lake Butler; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson; One brother: Carl Bielling (Pauline) of Providence. Four sisters: Annie Mae Bohannon of Newberry, Mary Prestwood of Providence, Margie Testone (Bob) of Highsprings, and Frances Willis of Newberry.
J.W. and Joannah moved to Miami when they were newly married and they worked and made a home there, where their children all were born. J.W. drove a cement truck, then when he brought his family home to Providence, Florida, he did some work as a heavy equipment operator and farm work for his brother and for Mr. Lowell Shadd. When he retired he did some fishing and a whole lot of what he wanted to do. He sold oranges for many years and met many people and made lots of friends. He loved his family. He was a big-hearted man, always willing to help a stranger. He also loved his little dog Trouble. He will surely be missed by many people.
Visitation will be Monday March 30, 2015, at 10:00am and the funeral service will start at11:00am with Rev. Terry Elixson officiating. Burial will follow at the Old Providence Cemetery. Archer Funeral Home of Lake Butler is in charge or arrangements. 386-496-2008
