James WIlliam "Billy" Barnes

Mr. James William “Billy” Barnes, age 49, of Lake Butler passed away peacefully at his home on January 11, 2022. Billy was a carpenter by trade who enjoyed fishing and riding 4-wheelers in his free time. Above all else, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Juanita Barnes.

He is survived by his son, Jamie Barnes and his wife, Sarah; his daughter, Amber Bennett; grandchildren, Brinley, Jordyn, Camden, Addilynn Barnes; his sisters, Tammy Avinger, Audrey Matthew, Sandra Dean, and Terry Parker; brothers, Monroe and Lamar Barnes, Scotty, Jeff, and Joe Parker; step-father, Jerry Parker; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles whom he loved very much.

A graveside service for Billy will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Dedan Cemetery in Brooker, FL. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer-Milton Funeral Home, Lake Butler. 386-496-2008 www.ArcherFuneralHome.com
