Jacqueline Barry Crutchfield Richardson

Ms. Jacqueline Richardson, age 84, of Brooker, FL, passed away peacefully at the ET York Haven Hospice in Gainesville. She was born on October 7, 1937, in Brooker, to Lloyd and Grace Barry. She was a graduate of Bradford County High and spent most her adult life in Brooker. She married Sam Crutchfield, and the two of them ran Crutchfeild Electrical for many years. After his passing, she retired. She was involved with Gideon’s International and a member of Morning Star Baptist Church. She enjoyed working at the church and taught Sunday School classes as her children were growing up. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Samuel Crutchfield and James Richardson; her daughter, Sandra Krajnovich; her sister, Frances Land; brother, Wilbur Barry; and her parents.

Ms. Richardson leaves behind her daughter, Debra (Marvin) Norman; her sister, Helen Crosby; a friend who was more like a son, Tony (Gina) Stalnaker; grandchildren, Joshua (Amanda) Norman, Jason (Lisa) Norman, Jennifer (Alan) Rentas, Jeremy (Chrissy) Parrish, Phillip Stalnaker, Matthew (Erica) Stalnaker, Linn (Tim) Porter; great grandchildren: Tripp Norman, Stetson Norman, Preston Comstock, CharliAnn Norman, Samantha Harrell, Nicholas Rentas, Noah Rentas, Luke Rentas, Bradley Stalnaker, Tucker Stalnaker, Gracie Porter.

A funeral to honor Ms. Richardson’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 23, at 2:00 pm at her church, Morning Star Baptist Church located at 11250 W. County Road 18, Lake Butler, FL 32054. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 1:00 pm at the church. She will be laid to rest at Dedan Cemetery in Brooker.
