Ima Ainsworth Thomas, 59 of Gainesville passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Shands at UF. Mrs. Thomas was born December 3, 1954 in Gainesville to the late John Thomas and Zella Mae Ainsworth. Mrs. Thomas worked as a custodian at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Gainesville Ward.
She is survived by the husband of 13 years: Frank Thomas of Gainesville
Two daughters: Erin, husband Aaron Cowart of Starke and Joan Freese of Gainesville
Son: Joel Rodgers of Gainesville
Eight grandchildren
Brother: Tommy Smith wife, Sherry of Hawthorne
Three sisters: Wanda Koch of
Marlyn Maxwell of Cleveland, Tn and Patty Holton, husband David of Micanopy

Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 24, 2014 at 3:00 pm in the Old Oak Grove Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints by the cemetery, Lake Butler Ward, with Michael Criohio and Larry Rodgers officiating, Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends for visitation at 2:00 pm an hour prior to services. Archer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.386-496-2008
