Hilda Terrell Mock

Mrs. Hilda Terrell Mock, age 82, of Lake Butler, passed away on May 20, 2022, at the Haven Hospice in Lake City. She was born on September 30, 1939, in Jacksonville, to Walter Clyde and Allie Mae (Byrd) Terrell Sr. She lived most of her life in Jacksonville before moving to Lake Butler, 24 years ago. Mrs. Hilda was a loving housewife who enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed helping her husband and son with their company, Southern Door Technologies. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Walter Clyde Terrell; sisters, Gladys Lee and JoAnn Mayo; and a grandson, Christian Fillyaw.

Mrs. Hilda is survived by her husband of almost 53 years, Ezra Mock of Lake Butler; her children, Debra (Buddy) Broughton, Ezra Eugene Mock, and Leslie (Robert) Fillyaw all of Lake Butler; grandchildren, Sabrina Tetstone, Robert Broughton, Trey Collins, Catherine Siereveld, Ashley, and Amber Mock, Caroline, Abygayle, Zoey, Gabriel, and Cole Fillyaw; great-grandchildren, Heather Klein, Trista Webb, Dalton Rose, Ryan and Miranda Broughton, Stefen and Sabrina Siereveld, and Haven Mock; great-great grandchildren, Landon, Trenton, and Ayden Klein, Kinley Ward, Kaislyn Martin, Karsyn and Nova Rose; brother, W.C. Terrell of Lake Butler; sister Frances Havard of MS; numerous extended family also survive.
