They lived in many places, owned several businesses, traveled to many places together, and were missionaries, teaching and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Hazel started college at the age of 44 at the University of Florida and graduated with a bachelor's degree in library science and a master's degree in education and curriculum. She enjoyed painting and reading. She published a book in 2006 “Cracker Girl, A Love Story” telling the story of her life.
She was a wonderful, Godly, Christian woman who loved her Lord, church, family, and friends. One other thing she loved and was dear to her heart was teaching her Bible Study Class. She was an amazing woman who was an inspiration to all who knew her. What a blessed life she’s had. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
